Past Conferences

The World Conference on Applied Sciences, Engineering and Management (WCSEM) was started by Dr. R. Hafeez Basha, Founder – Basha Research Corporation (BRCORP) in 2012 which is now acquired by InnoGen Research Services Pvt. Ltd. founded by Dr. K. Mahammad Rafi. The first conference was organized at Haailand Theme Park, Vijayawada during 17-19 August 2012 inaugurated by the then President & CEO, BRCORP Late Prof. Jammi S. Rao (Former Science Counsellor, Indian Embassy in US and Ex-Professor, IIT Delhi) in presence of Prof. Shovan K. Saha, Director – School of Planning and Architecture (SPA-Vijayawada) and Prof. Ch. Sanjay, Director – GITAM University Hyderabad Campus. Prof. G. L. Datta, Chancellor – K L University (Dean Retd., IIT Kharagpur) was chief guest for valedictory function.

The second WCSEM was organized at GITAM University, Hyderabad Campus during 8-9 March 2013 inaugurated by Prof. Dinesh Kumar Paliwal, Member Secretary – National Board of Accreditation (NBA), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Education, Government of India in presence of Dr. Narendra Kumar Nanda, Executive Director, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), Government of India and late Prof. K. Laxminarayana, COO-BRCORP and Project Director Retd., Defence Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL-DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Prof. Shuichi TORII, Assistant Director, Kumamoto University, Japan and Prof. Katta Venkataramana, Dean Academics, National Institute of Technology (NIT-Karnataka) attended the valedictory function.

The third WCSEM was organized at Hotel Manang, Thamel, Kathmandu, Nepal during 27-29 September 2014 inaugurated by Minister Shri. Minendra Rizal and concluded by Chief Secretary Shri. Leela Mani Poudyal (now Ambassador to China, Mongolia and North Korea), Government of Nepal. The fourth WCSEM was organized at Kumamoto University, Japan by Prof. Shuichi TORII during 24-26 October 2015 inaugurated by Prof. Kazuki Takashima, Vice President in presence of Prof. Jun Otani, Dean – Graduate School of Science & Technology, Kumamoto University and Mr. Hiromitsu Yagi, Secretary General – Kumamoto City International Centre (KCIC). The valedictory function was graced by Prof. Hiroshi Yamada, Advisor, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) and Director – National Institute for Fusion Science and Prof. Mitsuru Kikuchi, Advisor – Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA), Government of Japan.

The fifth WCSEM was organized by Rector Prof. Mai Thanh Phong at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), Vietnam during 02-04 June 2015 which was inaugurated by Prof. Hiroshi Nabetani, Director General, Food Research Institute, NARO, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Government of Japan. Prof. Amde M. Amde, University of Maryland, USA and Prof. Kyuro Sasaki, Kyushu University, Japan were the keynote speakers. The sixth WCSEM was organized at Universitas Mohamadia Ponorogo, Indonesia by Dr. Rizal Arifin during 26-27 August 2017 where Mr. Ipong Muchlisoni, Mayor of Ponorogo City was invited as chief guest for inauguration. It was attended by Ir. Aliyadi M. M., Dean – Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Hideaki Ohgaki from Kyoto University, Japan.

The seventh WCSEM was organized by Prof. Fady Fadel, Dean at The American Business School of Paris, France during 26-27 October 2018. Shri. Vinay Mohan Kwatra IFS, Ambassador of India to France was invited as chief guest for inauguration. It was attended by Mr. Roger Serre, Founder of IGS University, France and Mr. Nicolas Ribollet, Governing Council Member, Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IFCCI). The eighth WCSEM was organized by Prof. Kyuro Sasaki at Kyushu University, Japan during 05-07 December 2019 attended by Prof. K. E. Prakash, Ex-Registrar, Visvesvaraya Technological University and Dr. N. Manoj Kumar from City University, Hong Kong. The ninth WCSEM was again conducted at The American Business School of Paris, France by Prof. Fady Fadel during 17-18 December 2020 virtually due to COVID-19 pandemic. Mrs. Payal S. Kanwar, Director General – IFCCI and Prof. Rohit Kumar from Indian Institute of Management (IIM Ranchi) addressed the participants online.

The tenth WCSEM was organized by Prof. Mohammed Rashed Al Mamun, Dean – Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Convener – Dean Council at Sylhet Agricultural University, Bangladesh during 20-21 December 2021 which was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Prof. Md. Matiar Rahman Howlader in presence of Prof. S. Sundarrajan, Ex-Director – National Institute of Technology (NIT-Trichy) and Outstanding Scientist, DRDL-DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Prof. Shuichi TORII, Kumamoto University, Japan and Prof. Nilesh Arora, Director – University School of Business, Chandigarh University delivered the keynote lectures.
